Organic Trio is a guided farm visit experience where participants explore three types of farms – Plantation Farm, Vegetable Farm, and Cereals/Pulses Farm. The event provides insights into organic farming, traditional cultivation methods, and sustainable agricultural practices.

This event is open to farmers, students, researchers, organic enthusiasts, sustainability advocates, and anyone interested in learning about organic farming practices.

Each farm visit lasts 1 hour 20 minutes (40 minutes of exploration + 40 minutes of discussion). Since we cover three farms, the total farm visit duration is approximately 4 hours. Additionally, a lunch break and a tea/coffee break will be provided.

Participants will gain basic insights into organic farming methods, seasonal crop cycles, farm management, and the importance of soil health. However, this is not an in-depth technical workshop on organic farming.

The visit is primarily observational and discussion-based, but participants may have the opportunity for small hands-on interactions like touching crops, learning about farm tools, and understanding post-harvest processing techniques.

The three farms are within 10–15 km of each other, ensuring smooth transitions between locations. The event starts at a designated meeting point, from where the journey will begin.

Participants are advised to bring:

•A hat/cap and sunglasses for sun protection
•Reusable water bottles
•Notebook and pen (if you want to take notes)
•A camera or phone for capturing experiences
